Color - Beautiful straw color with green edges
Bouquet - Fine mineral fragrance with ginger, caraway seed, underripe pineapple and flowers
Taste - Flavors of white peach, quince and lemon on the palate with a lingering, clean and dry
James Suckling 92 points - Aromas of petrol, dried mango and lemon. Full-bodied, round and rich with flint and mineral character. Finish is dry and has a silky texture. Drink now.
Wine Enthusiast 90 points - A wonderfully aromatic wine that’s bone dry, fresh and textured. A steely edge gives a mineral, tight character that emphasizes the youth of the wine. With a dominance of orange and lemon zest, plus juicy acidity, the wine does need a year or two; drink after 2016.
Wine Spectator 91 points - The piercing acidity and pronounced minerality weave a fine tapestry in this lovely Riesling, supporting flavors of white peach, slivered almond, lemon confit and oyster shell with a long, mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2024. 6,000 cases imported. -AN

The Trimbachs have a purist vision. Across 12 generations, the family has always produced wines that are structured, long-lived, fruity, elegant and balanced: the celebrated Trimbach style.
|Wine maker notes
|The specific vineyard plots for Trimbach Riesling are selected each year by Pierre and Jean Trimbach. The grapes are normally harvested in late October and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats. There is no secondary malolactic fermentation in order to maintain as much natural acidity as possible.
|Served best with marinated, grilled, or sauced fish, and sushi. Delicious with traditional Alsace dishes like onion tarte, sauerkraut, and pork.
